Group show

I am thrilled to be working with Evelyne Leblanc-Roberge and Megan Scheffer for an upcoming group show at BIG ORBIT GALLERY in the spring of 2018. Check out their work and our exhibition idea below:

Artists: Megan Scheffer, Megan Metté, Evelyne Leblanc-Roberge

Exhibition Idea:

Are we suspended in a constant state of waiting? We wait for the doctor to see us, we wait for our phone calls to be returned, we wait to arrive at our destination, we wait for the right moment, we wait for answers. We wait with anticipation and apprehension. As we wait, time slows down. We become aware of ourselves and our surroundings. We crave stimulation. We start to create, question, imagine. Walls start to move inward as our minds project outward. Our thoughts wander. We wait some more.

Through artwork by Megan Armstrong, Megan Metté and Evelyne Leblanc-Roberge this exhibition will explore a mental space that is often overlooked or forgotten. Moving images, photographs, drawings, and 3D objects will invite the viewer to rediscover the experience of waiting.

Flash Powder Retreat

This past July, I was invited to a photographer's retreat in Highlands, NC by the Flash Powder Project duo David Bram and Jennifer Schwartz. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my time there talking about work, getting to know a wonderful community of photographers, learning important dos and don'ts of the business, and just goofing around.

If you have a sec, check out Flash Powder Projects. David and Jennifer are both wonderful people who really want to help artists get their work out there. You can find links relating to David and Jennifer's efforts below:
